Most of our business websites are developed using Joomla and Wordpress content management systems. The choice between the two depends on your current requirements and your long term vision for your web presence.
Both Joomla and Wordpress are extremely powerful, customisable and user-friendly.
Joomla is our most popular offering. We suggest Joomla to clients who would want a business website right now, but would later want to add powerful, customised systems to manage their internal business processes online.
An example of this would be a school website in the front-end, with an access controlled school management system in the back-end. Or a real estate brokerage adding on a properties inventory management system. Or it could even be something as simple as an online system to manage the petty cash accounts of your employees.
You may not see the need for it today, but it has been our experience that six months down the line many of our customers come to us with a request to add some aditional business process functionality to their existing website. With Joomla, we have the almost limitless possibility to seamlessly update and enhance the functionality of your website whenever required in the future.
Joomla is also most suited for clients who wish to create a cost effective intranet or extranet portal that serves their employees, customers, vendors, or any other stakeholder communities. Examples of this could be an internal client communication and document sharing platform, a project management system, a customer support portal, a CRM system, or even a custom ERP system
Wordpress is most suited for clients who wish to have a business website with a blog. Wordpress is extremely simple and user-friendly, and that explains its worldwide popularity. However, in comparison to Joomla, it is limited in terms of the possibility to add custom functionality when required in the future.
Both Joomla and Wordpress can be combined with their respective e-commerce components giving you cost-effective, feature-packed online shops that are easy to manage and maintain.
